What is a Banner Exchange?
A banner exchange is a group of web sites that exchange advertising with each other. Each web site has a banner advertisement that displays other web sites' banners. By displaying ads on their web site, banner exchange members generate free Advertising and site-linking for their own banners.
When a banner is clicked on, we process the click-thru, and direct the individual to the respective member web site. Using a banner exchange is a great way to gain exposure for your web site. Your advertising is spread across an array of web sites, maximizing visibility. Our banner exchange is a free service at present.
What do I need to join?
You will need two things to join our Banner Exchange An image (your banner)and a website.
What is a Banner?
A banner is an image that you use to promote your webiste. If you do not have a banner, you can use a graphics program like Paint Shop Pro, or Corel Paint. On your banner you place your advertising message like "Click here to buy from Amazon.com". Your banner is advertised on our website along with a pool of banners from other members of our Banner Exchange.
We allow 3 sizes of banners:
-Full Banner (468x60 pixels).
-Medium Rectangle (300x250 pixels).
-Square Button (125x125 pixels).
For best results, we recommend the Full Banner (468x60 pixels)
What is a URL?
A URL is basically an address (like a mailing address) that directs a browser to your web page. http://www.amodel4hire.co.uk is a URL. If you have a web page, view it using your browser, and copy the "Location" box information.
What types of sites are accepted?
Sites intended for the general audience are accepted which have a photographic theme eg Studio's, model agencies, photographers etc... This banner exchange does not accept adult or offensive content sites. Advertising banners and websites must not contain nudity, partial nudity (bathing suits included), violence, vulgar language, or links to adult sites. In addition, advertising banners cannot imply a link to an adult content site (using adult related banners to draw public to your non-adult website).
I am already a member of another banner exchange, Can I Join?
Yes. You can place our banner exchange banners in your web pages that already have other exchange banners. However, you can only have 1 of our banner exchange banners per web page.
How to join.
Use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page, change the subject to Banner Exchange. Before e-mailing us please Insert our banner below download from here and save to your site. Please don’t hot link to this file as we move it or use another occasionally with a different name.
Once you have Inserted our banner let us know where it can be found.
