http://www.apple.com/ - Apple have announced that after nearly two years of people complaining about iphone power button being faulty http://www.apple.com/ - Apple will operate a replacement scheme.
Many forums are filled with complaints dating back two years - before the time http://www.apple.com/ - Apple claims the manufacturing error occurred. ‘The sleep/wake button is very unresponsive,’ one user wrote on the http://www.apple.com/ - Apple forum in April 2012.

The replacement process so far limited to the U.S. and Canada, however plans in place to launch in other countries on 2 May 2014.
